Last night I was flipping through channels, trying to find something to visually score my computer activities, when I saw a commercial for foodtv.ca and the launch of a new show chronicling restaurant startups. One of the talking heads was Tom Poirer, the bar manager from my days as a 19 year old bartender in Vancouver.

Well I spent FAR too much time uploading old photos into the gallery last night. Now there are over 400 photos in the system, all exquisitely sorted and meticulously captioned. If that doesn't say something about the anal-retentiveness of my personality, I'm not sure what does.

Included in the new batch are photos from trips to Spain, England, Georgia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Chicago as well as river rafting, snowmobiling, flying, monster trucks, and more.

Had an incredibly good time in Montreal this weekend. I had never been there, so Mary and I bought tickets to a Canucks/Canadiens NHL game and drove up for the weekend (about a 5 hour trip).

Saw this documentary last night with Mary. It was 90 straight minutes of an interview with Hitler's secretary. In German with English subtitles. It was also the first time in 50 years she'd told the story of Hitler's last days.
